Things are constantly moving in and out of the US, and the NY Times Freakonomics blog linked to a site that gives you an absolutely fascinating view of it. They give you (almost) real-time information on what is coming into the US through ports of entry at any given point in time. Give it a look:

I can see how this information could be beneficial to say investors, but do you think all things are REALLY listed?
I think it eventually is, although who knows. If you take the big container ports (LA, Seattle, NY/NJ, Long Beach) alone, there could very well be more cargo than is already on there. It's an interesting little glimpse of what makes our world turn though.
